Traditional Parenting & Life Skills Group
This group begins in February 5, 2020 and will run weekly for 6 weeks.
WHERE: Boundary Family Services
WHEN: 11AM till 2PM with Lunch provided!
WHO: Any parent or caregiver who is caring for an Aboriginal child. Parents/ caregivers willing to embrace Aboriginal cultural teachings are also welcome.
WHAT: Focus on the Traditional Teachings; this group provides cultural connections and experiences, life skills as well as an opportunity to meet other parents and Elders in the community to share experiences about parenting and culture.
This group is FREE of charge and offers onsite child-minding as well as gas vouchers if needed.

Boundary Family Services provides a wide variety of programs to meet the interests and needs of children, youth and families throughout the Boundary.
A Boundary Family Centre is located in each Elementary School from Christina Lake to Beaverdell with the main hub being the Glanville Family Centre in Grand Forks. Some programs require an appointment while other programs are open for drop in. Accessing most programs just requires that you contact us for an intake appointment or drop in time but some programs have specific guidelines and require a referral.
