NOBODY'S PERFECT is a facilitated, community-based parenting program for parents of children from birth to age five.
This is an 8 week group that will run on Tuesdays Starting Jan 7th from 12pm-2:30pm at The Glanville Centre (1200 Central Ave Grand forks) There is free child care provided and we will be serving a light meal from 12-12:30.
Within a group setting, parents participate in facilitated sessions that:
-promote positive parenting -increase parents' understanding of children's health, safety, and behaviour
-help parents build on the skills they have and learn new ones improve parents' self-esteem and coping skills
-increase self-help and mutual support -bring them in contact with community services and resources
-help prevent family violence

Boundary Family Services provides a wide variety of programs to meet the interests and needs of children, youth and families throughout the Boundary.
A Boundary Family Centre is located in each Elementary School from Christina Lake to Beaverdell with the main hub being the Glanville Family Centre in Grand Forks. Some programs require an appointment while other programs are open for drop in. Accessing most programs just requires that you contact us for an intake appointment or drop in time but some programs have specific guidelines and require a referral.
