Boundary Family Services is a CARF Accredited agency. Our services are provided by professionally trained staff in a respectful and confidential manner.

All youth services are provided FREE of charge thanks to our funders and the generous support of private donors.

Youth Counselling

Counselling is provided to youth and their families affected by mild to moderate mood difficulties, behavior disorders and anxiety.  Participant experiences including, but not limited to trauma, sexual abuse, family violence, grief and loss can be addressed.

Services for Youth

Support services are provided for youth who are experiencing challenges in their families, school, peers, the community and lifestyle choices.

Community Integration Program

This service provides positive, inclusive, community based programming for children with developmental and/or physical challenges.

After School programs

Groups that engage children and youth in meaningful activities in Boundary communities. 

These after school programs strengthen inter-personal skills, encourage mentoring as well as encourage skill development in sports and arts.

Our Programs & Services

Boundary Family Services provides a wide variety of programs to meet the interests and needs of children, youth and families throughout the Boundary with the main hub being the Glanville Family Centre in Grand Forks. Some programs require an appointment while other programs are open for drop in. Accessing most programs just requires that you contact us for an intake appointment or drop in time but some programs have specific guidelines and require a referral.

Boundary Family Services is committed to maintaining the health and safety of our participants through our Communicable Diseases Plan:

 - Please do not attend the centre or outdoor groups if you are not feeling well

Physical distancing with staff and other participants is encouraged

- Practice healthy hand hygiene by washing your hands or using the provided hand sanitizer when entering the centre or attending an outdoor group

- Enhanced cleaning measures are in place in all areas

- Masks are no longer mandatory in indoor spaces
